Where We're At Now

Psst... we just got back from an amazing experience in Mexico City and Cuba-- our first international travels since we got back from our around-the-world honeymoon (which was exactly a year ago, by the way)! Cuba was extremely photogenic and we can't wait to share the photos from our trip. We'll post about it as soon as we wrap up Australia and the rest of our trip.

We are currently hanging out in beautiful Whistler in BC Canada. Enjoying the 2nd snowiest season on record, beautiful spring weather and the amazing atmosphere of the TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival.

Since we first landed in Australia, every time we ask someone about Melbourne, they say quirky cafes, funky shops, and "cultural center of Australia". I have been looking forward to our time here almost as much as I look forward to birthdays. Seriously.

It almost didn't happen because we're running out of travel time and think Australia deserves at least a month. Also, the tickets to Australia weren't exactly cheap. But we figured our trip wouldn't really be around the world if we left Australia out. So here we are! We have very very high hopes for this place. It seems like everything that ever comes from Australia is ultra hip. I'm ready to learn.

Where We're At Now

Now that we're in a beautiful place like Bali, Indonesia, our camera decided that it was tired of traveling and taking hundreds of photos every day. The shutter slowly started dying and now won't open at all. We have been limited to our baby camera in the mean time. Every time we step out of our hotel room, we're reminded that we're [pretty much] camera-less, and it sucks big time.

Although we are still posting about Greece, we wanted to let you know we are currently in Turkey. We are very surprised by this country that we both know so little about. The culture is beautiful, the scenery and nature is amazing (two unbelievable places that we can't wait to show you), the people have been some of the friendliest and hospitable people that we've come across yet on our travels. Lots to tell you about and some amazing photos to share... soon.

We're headed to Istanbul tomorrow. If you have recommendations on places to eat/sleep/see, please let us know.
